Back Story of Abul Khair Welfare Organization
The distinguished individual of this region is A.K. Rafiqul Hussain, known as “Khair Mia Sab,” a legendary and highly respected personality in the area. In honor of his name, his capable son, Moyeedul Hussain Marshal, initiated this noble effort to improve the lives of people in the region, focusing on development, education, healthcare, and infrastructure.
On Monday, June 6, 2019, the first health camp was organized in the serene environment of Pirbari in Uttar Lakshmipur Hajir Hati village, surrounded by green shade from mango and guava trees. This marked the beginning of the “Abul Khair Welfare Organization” providing services to the region. On July 4, with the cooperation of the government-registered development organization “Ek Ronga Ek Ghuri,” the inauguration of the “Abul Khair Health Care” (AKHC) project took place in a joyful atmosphere, with the presence of doctors, nurses, volunteers, and respected community members. Since then, a team of two specialist doctors has been providing prescriptions and urgent medicines every week at the traditional Baishmaouja Bazaar office. Over the past five years, the organization has provided healthcare to nearly 44,000 people. Additionally, it has been providing IT training to students, offering support programs, and constructing an academic building at Uttar Lakshmipur High School, which will include vocational education facilities. The Abul Khair Welfare Organization has made significant contributions to various social and voluntary activities in the villages under the Brahmanbaria district’s Nabinnagar Upazila, specifically in the Krishnanagar Union.

Our Mission & Vision
The establishment of a public education center to provide basic education to underprivileged children and adolescents in the area, along with providing free medical services to ensure their good health and engaging in sports activities. Additionally, organizing meetings, seminars, and awareness campaigns to prevent child marriages.
Creating self-reliance among the poor youth in the area by offering various training programs to reduce unemployment. Organizing training programs for disadvantaged women to empower them, along with eliminating the practice of dowry.
Providing vocational training to disabled individuals to enable self-employment. Organizing recreational activities to prevent people from engaging in antisocial behaviors and fostering a sense of civic responsibility through social education, including educational programs for the elderly.
Eradicating begging through training programs that create opportunities for work and rehabilitation. Providing entertainment facilities, care, and medicine for the elderly.
Encouraging people to engage in service-oriented activities and collaborating with them to assist in such work. Coordinating with registered volunteer organizations to provide support during national and international observance days.
Supporting government development organizations and acting as an auxiliary force for them. Motivating elderly people to engage in adult education, while also educating villagers about advanced technologies in agriculture, fish farming, poultry, cottage industries, hatcheries, nurseries, and related activities. Organizing relevant development activities, meetings, and seminars to spread knowledge.
Collaborating with family planning field workers to promote planned family formation in the community.
Introducing modern, quality technology-based education systems and establishing schools, colleges, and universities.
Setting up charitable healthcare centers and free medical camps, and establishing maternal health centers for maternal and child health care. Ensuring appropriate measures to address malnutrition in pregnant mothers and children, as well as forming skilled healthcare workers through short- and long-term training if necessary.
Establishing low-cost solar power and biogas plants, and sustainable sanitation systems for rural communities to protect health and the environment.
Providing assistance to the distressed and affected communities during national crises such as famine, floods, cyclones, land erosion, pandemics, droughts, and excessive rainfall by delivering necessary relief materials.

We manage our regular activities through monthly contributions from our members, donations from like-minded friends and well-wishers, and support from volunteers. For ongoing projects, we set a proposed budget and raise funds accordingly to ensure smooth execution. In times of emergencies, such as natural disasters, accidents, or floods, we reach out to the community for additional support. Many individuals join our cause through these appeals, helping us extend our impact further.
